Chromme is a browser game that turns your everyday browser activity into RPG progress (levels, gold, gear, achievements). This policy explains exactly what Chromme does and does not do with your data.

What Chromme measures

To award points, Chromme counts how much you interact with web pages:

What Chromme does NOT collect

Chromme only ever stores aggregate counts ("how much, on which domain"), never the substance of your activity.

In Chrome Web Store terms, Chromme handles two data categories — User activity (counts of keystrokes, clicks, scrolling, and active time) and Web history (the domain names of sites where you are active, e.g. github.com, kept only as game progress). It does not handle Website content, personal info, location, authentication, financial, health, or communications data.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in storage (chrome.storage). Chromme does not transmit your data to any server, and there are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

You can erase all stored data at any time using the Reset progress button in the extension popup, or by removing the extension.
